Michelle Strebchuk graduated with honours from Lethbridge College's 1000 hour Massage Therapy Certificate program in 1999, and successfully completed a nationally recognized voluntary Competency Equivalency Exam  in 2016. This exam measures the professional skills, knowledge, and conduct of massage therapists against the Inter-Jurisdictional Practice Competencies and Performance Indicators for Massage Therapists at Entry-to-Practice(IJ) document. The two-part exam consists of a multiple-choice written examination, and an Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE). The OSCE has candidates demonstrate their competency in assessment, massage techniques, and clinical judgment through eight individual stations. Candidates like Michelle who successfully pass both components of the exam are seen as equivalent to meeting the competencies of a 2,200-hour training programs set to the IJ standards. (Not all 2200 hour massage therapy programs and graduates meet this standard).

She is committed to ongoing professional education and uses her advanced training in relaxation, therapeutic, prenatal massage, and deep tissue massage to provide a gentle, effective massage that will meet your specific needs.
